“This winter, join Flea and her brother Bog as they set off on a journey across the snowy mountains to reach The Northern Lights. What will they find and who will they meet on there journey? Expect fun, mischief and magic as the siblings make their journey into the Wintry Night!
TimbaDash Theatre presents a magical sensory theatre show designed for young people with autism and/or complex and additional needs. This show is packed full of sensory treats, music and puppetry for you to enjoy this Winter!”
Wintry Night is a brand new sensory and immersive story for young people. The story is a celebration of the winter period, and will be the perfect addition to your Christmas celebrations.
TimbaDash understand that the festive period can be both a sensory delight and a sensory overload. Which is why they have created this gentle and relaxing sensory story aimed at providing a soothing and relaxing environment.
Wintry Night is touring to SEN schools and Gosforth Civic Theatre. This will be the first time the company have made their work available for public bookings with Gosforth Civic Theatre. So, are really eager to reach as many families with those who have additional needs.
Alongside the show, the utterly amazing theatre company will be creating a ‘calm-space’ for young people to enjoy with their families at Gosforth Civic Theatre from the 19 - 22 of December.
The shows begin to tour to SEN schools from the 4 - 15 December and there will be public shows available at Gosforth Civic Theatre from the 19 - 21 December. The sensory installation space will be available for families to drop-in too (without shows) till the 3 of January.
This project is funded by Arts Council England, Hadrian SEN School and St Nicholas Educational Trust.
