Greatly.
VIDEO KILLED is a bold new work that fuses suspense, dark humor, and a heartfelt celebration of difference. Created entirely by emerging young talents, the play pushes boundaries while keeping audiences captivated and on the edge of their seats.
Written, produced, and directed by Ella Fraser, the piece draws from her passion for telling the stories of society’s most marginalised voices. Her past work - described as “eerie, atmospheric, and bitterly funny” (Upstaged Manchester) and “a triumph” (NorthWestEnd) - has explored Northern working-class life, the digital age, and queer friendships and identities.
For Fraser, this debut play is more than just a production: it’s a platform for working-class creatives and a chance to support Arts Emergency, a charity helping underrepresented young people break into the arts. The production team includes several Arts Emergency alumni, including assistant director Umar Haroon.
